Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

The BEng and MEng courses both provide a balanced content that address robotics systems hardware and software design and implementation and is genuinely cross disciplinary in nature. The courses provide experience in the design and development of robotics systems, from the initial hardware design and development, to writing and implementing advanced AI software to enable robots to accomplish tasks in the real world. Hertfordshire is a member of the CDIO Initiative (Conceive Design Implement Operate), a worldwide network of academic professionals, industry representatives and engineering leaders who have a passion for engineering education and engineering leadership. The CDIO framework has been embedded into the undergraduate degree programme, ensuring students put into practice what they learn through “Design and Build” projects during their studies.
