College Diploma - Motive Power Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment (0737) (Optional Co-op)

Conestoga provides students with the skills to be job ready to enter this high demand trade. This two-year program provides Levels 1 and 2 apprenticeship schooling with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Students will delve deeper into related topics such as failure analysis, electrical diagnostics and systems repair. To broaden every student's options, Conestoga College will introduce students to alternative careers within the heavy duty equipment industry such as business development, customer service, shop and parts management. Graduate will have the opportunity to receive exemption from Levels 1 and 2 of the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician apprenticeship in-school training.
